randomness

Just some random thoughts tonight....
according to the first Relief Society lesson I ever heard I now have 53 weeks till my life begins! YUP! That first RS lesson ( when I was 17) was TITLED Life begins after 40! No wonder it took me years and years to even begin to feel like I fit in with RS. Actually don't know I reallly feel like I fit now but i can fake it I guess...or not! Ido klnow the importance of RS so will attend and feel the spirit at the same time as I feel like I don't fit or belong there. I am used to feeling like that in every aspecto f my life anyway.
My Astros had a really tough season this but thought I might get to cheer my other team onto the world series but the Cubs decided that winning the division was good enough and got swept while trying to win the league to go onto the world series. Now my only hope is to not have to0 watch the Yankees in the world series. Boy do I hate New York teams. ANY of them!
I got a new job. Still in daycare but as lead teacher for the 2 year olds making more money and better working conditions all around.
General Conference was AWESOME. I may write more about it later but it is always so hard for my to pick and choose things to write about when it comes to conference because I don't say it nearly as well as the General Authorities do. But I was definitely uplifted and inspired by it. One thing that does kind of stick out to me was in President Eyring's talk when he spoke of journaling or recording the blessings the Lord gives us that one day maybe that recorded line or two will help us or some we love to recognise their own blessings a bit better or to know better how much our Heavenly Father loves us. Don't remember who it was that spoke about prayer but one who did talked about it in such a fashion that it inspired me to be more diligent in talking with the Lord each day. As always was uplifted by the music as well. Love getting to hear the Morman tabernacle Choir sing but always really enjoy the other choirs they get this time it was Young Women's choir that did a wonderful job Saturday afternoon.

No real comments, just wanted to give you a big hug and say that I love you. How are things going? I know you must still be grieving. Remember, if you need me, I'm there.

Well, I agree that life begins at 40! For obvious reasons I agree with that statement. And I understand about not feeling like you fit is RS. Oh well. Hope you are well Love ya

Hi, dear!

Life does not begin at 17 or 40 or
at your prime age. It is a myth coined by people who underwent roller-coaster life.
It blooms at whatever age, circumstance,or incidence...it is the right attitude towards people, environment, and joy of finding peace and joy at heart.

Aristotle, the Greek Philosopher once said, " We are What we repeatedly do. Excellence is not just an act, but it is a habit".
So it is with life.....the enjoyment of it is with the repetition of smiles along the way, appreciating : What is life is full of care, we have no time to stand and stare." (John Keats).

Have a productive week!
With love and hugz,
Anon.
