OK here is the photo-less update...(photo are coming but not today)
I have had power since Sunday night but most around me are just getting power back they are saying the Woodlands ( where I am) should be completely back online by Friday.
CP is hanging out with me as his power and water are still not on and hew was running low on gas driving back and forth to check on the kitchen. the Club had power for a few hours yesterday so we got the rotten gross things out of the walk-in disposed of and the containers cleaned. SO i will have about 2 hours of time this week. Hey it is two hours more than some will have. Unfortunately the power went back off and has yet to come back on there.
With out pictures most of the stories are not nearly as much fun so later today we will post again with pictures.
Just know that I am doing fine. I am lucky in many respects. The tree outside my balcony is still outside and while there are a couple of watermarks on my ceiling nothing leaked enough for it to put any water on my floor. The apartment will, of course, be fixing our roof hopefully before the next rains come through so the leaks don't increase. We are having fun with two dogs here enjoying, being the pack animals that they are, having a friend to play with.
