a night, a morning...

What an odd assortment of kitchen things I have right now! Actually very little in the ways of things. I did not attempt to rescue from storage most of the boxes as I can carry them and they will go in my car. I did get most of the food boxes though I know there is still a box of #10 cans of dehydrated refried beans somewhere...I also grabbed a box that had casseroles and a very small pot/frying pan thing in it and lids lots of assorted lids in it too. I didn't get the box with silverware or utensils...or my george foreman...or my knives...or..or..or.. So what do I have? well the mentioned pots, 2 paring knives, measuring cups, and I bought some spoons for cooking with, a can opener, paper plates, bowls and cups, plastic spoons and forks, and my microwave. But even with all I don't have I managed to not only make my dinner last night but to poach an egg for breakfast this morning. OK so dinner was reheated food from lunch but still it was yummy!
It was awesome sleeping in my bed last night. In fact it has been totally completely an out of this world thing to be in my own place and with my own things. I am going to have come up with the words to describe it better...my puppy is so relaxed and happy. It is so nice to not feel like a guest, interloper, or third class citizen. Not that any of the people I stayed with did that on purpose it is just the nature of the beast. I am very thankful for all those who let me stay with them this past year but I am even more thankful I don't have to anymore. Blank walls are going to drive nuts. I have got to get some pictures up soon.

Congratulations! Can't wait to come see it. Em and Joel moved in on the same night. I think they feel a bit of the same. It's always nice to be in a place you can call your own.

Congratulations!!!! That's wonderful, having a place to call your own.

I find now that I'm in Tommy's house, our house as he calls it, I'm more concious of how things look, where things go, all of that. Now its got pieces of me in it and I feel so much better about everything.

Going to do a blog entry soon. I know it's been a while but things have been so hectic and busy since I've gotten here. Miss my writing!

Love you!!
