THE MOVE

First I will do the sad news and then move on (hehe!) to the move.

My good friend, Disco Queen, who was struggling with lung cancer since February passed away and went home to Heavenly Father this past week. While I am sad for me I know she was at peace and now is not struggling with the pain of the disease. I will miss her. She brought such light and laughter to my life. We learned the night fever dance so we could dance it at the Singles dances,. Actually that is a lie we learned for a ward adult dance but I ended up sick so we didn't get to do it there. it was such fun trying to keep up with her and learn that silly dance. She was like me in that she went to dances to dance and have fun so she did. We would do routines to all sorts of songs. If no one was dancing we were out there! Even if it was some oldie that was more of a ball room dance we were out there making up some routine to it and having a blast. The dances will not be the same. they will be lacking, they have been lacking, a very vibrant spirit. Today was her funeral Vet Boy sang How Great Thou Art. Did an awesome job.

Because of the funeral I asked for the day off. I wouldn't have made it back before 2 or 3 anyways but still needed to try to fit in THE MOVE.

And yes we did. I will be sleeping on MY bed for the first time in over a year. In a place that is mine everything here is mine I can eat, drink, use the computer, heck walk around naked if I so desire( I won't but I could). I have my bed kind of made up found some of my sheets but not a matched set so it is a hodge podge but sleepable. Obviously the computer is up and running. lost a cable to the tv/dvd player so need to get another one. need to go to a box store and get a few items...shower curtain, can opener, milk, and few other food items, maybe some ice cream and chocolate syrup,oh and since I have a working dishwasher, dishwasher soap. I am so excited that tonight I get to not only sleep in my bed but my puppy can too. She has been so happy this evening sitting on the floor by me or when i am moving around too much for that up on the couch. i don't mind saying that while I have been grateful for all the help i have received this past year being able to stay with folks while I got back on my feet it has still been one hell of a year. Both my puppy and I are doing the happy dance!
