Yesterday I had my appointment with my surgeon. Lost 3 more pounds! I was excited and happy with that. I was actually quite prepared to see no weight loss because of how the last 3 weeks have been. Between the sunburn and other health issues making exercise and proper eating difficult at best I was certain that any weight I had lost was gained back in the last 3 weeks, but evidently not. I had an appointment this morning with my gp to discuss my other health issues one of which was a continuation of itching of my back ever since the sunburn. She looked and prescribed a steroidal cream and referred me to a dermatologist because some of the freckles and moles on my back look "suspect" hopefully when I go in to see him all is discovered to be fine. Amazingly was able to get an appointment for next week with him. So in the midst of packing and getting ready to move I will be getting assessed by the dermatologist. I know in my youth ( and obviously in my adulthood as well) I was stupid about the sun and had many bad burns but hopefully none have caused any lasting bad effects.
The rest of my day off was spent with CP. I had found a gift card to the local movie theatre so we saw Hancock. It was a good movie, not Will Smiths best effort but a good one none the less. I would say that for an action superhero movie go see Iron Man or the Incredible Hulk much more action in those two. BUT while Hancock did use some "language" quite freely it was still a good movie. DEFINITELY pg-13. Then we went to the mall. Ever been in a candle store with a guy who likes candles? or in a lotion place with one? It was new experience for me. Sorry LMSS and Sweet Pea but I haven't had that much fun at a mall in long time. After dinner we stopped by the pet store and got food for my pup and a bone for his. Both of whom were very happy to see (eat) what they got! I really would love to see our two dogs together! They would have such a blast! DESTROY anything in their path but they would have fun doing it!
One of my sister's has been finding and sending out pictures from our youth that are just treasures to behold. One is actually from the vacation where I got my first bad sunburn though it is not of the sunburn...maybe I will put it on here when I finally get the pictures from schlitterbahn developed.

Thanks for the random info on ice cream month. Lady Elsanor and I now feel justified for the large amounts we have been consuming. Hugz, Lmss
