The weekend

This past weekend was a very full one. Not that they all aren't full for me BUT considering that there were no Single Adult activities it was a very busy weekend. I worked at the plat nursery in the morning on Saturday, then attended a baptism that afternoon. It was great to be outside playing with plants and inspiring to go to a baptism but the really big fun came on Saturday night. Sweet Pea, disco queen, busy bee (may be changing that nickname but it will do for now) and I all went out for a girls night out kind of thing. the other three had all had men/pig problems recently so we went to see the Bourne Ultimatum ( naturally right?) I had seen it by myself about two weekends ago and loved it was more than willing to go see it again. So we all went to an action filled drama flick with a really hot guy in it....sounds like the perfect movie for what ailed us. :) After the movie we went out to eat and I had something really really bad! fried green beans! Yes I said FRIED green beans! They were yummy but I think it was more the sauce I liked than the fried green beans themselves. The green beans were what they were kind of non-descript but the wasabi dipping sauce was very very very very yummy! They were not nearly as tasty dipped in the plain ol' ranch dressing so it must have been the sauce. As a group we laughed, complained about men, laughed some more, and strengthened each other. Yes I think it was not only a fun night but a good one too. What is so amazing about the 4 of us is we are such a diverse group of women with me being the baby of the group. But age isn't the only thing making us diverse though it is the more obvious thing. We all work in different fields, while we are all currently single some have been married more than once some only once and one ( me) not at all yet and yet we can relate one to another. I think about how lucky we are to have the church and its programs in our lives. I don't see all of meeting much less becoming friends with out the church's programs. I mean to not have become friends with these ladies would have infinitely made my life less than it is. Less full of life, love and laughter. There would have been fewer examples of strength and courage. My life would have been flatter without them in it. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for those people he places in my life for my good and these three are some of the best he put there for me. thanks ladies!
Sunday I spoke in church and i will write about that tomorrow I must get to sleep now...
