So tonight was the first class in the tax preparer class...not really sure yet if I am going to like it or not. Why are there always those people in the classes I take that just don't seem to get that the class would be better, shorter, quicker if they would just keep their questions on topic? I mean maybe they just don't realise that their questions are off topic but i think they just don't care, they think of a question and then must ask it! It is a compulsion, a need if you will. It doesn't seem to matter that a lot of the time they are the very ones who voice a need or desire to end early and yet they hinder that possibility by getting the class of the subject or by asking something that the teacher has already stated he or she doesn't know. But otherwise I think the class tonight was good. I am going to have to do something about dinner and something to drink for future classes. Waiting until after nine to eat or drink anything is a bit late and my energy really drops the third hour. I am going to have fun taking the class with Rabbit Girl. :)
a couple of weeks ago at work something funny happened and I neglected to write about it so....here goes!
Two cents worth!
One of the patterns at work is that when the kids wake up from nap I change their diapers which for most is at least the third diaper change of the day they are, after all, one year olds. the nice thing about the after nap diaper change is it can be a bit more leisurely as they wake one at a time instead of boom boom boom trying to get all 9 kids changed ASAP so I can get back to helping the other teacher with rest of the class. Don't get me wrong I don't do all the diaper changing but usually the after nap one falls to me. Anyway enough of the boring description to help understand the dynamics of my day...
So as I am changing diapers I put one little adorable boy on the changing station and open his diaper and do a double take! Could it have really been? I question my own eyes and reopen the diaper and look again...yup it is! I am not quite sure what to do about what I see, I mean it isn't communicable, or dangerous ( well not on the surface anyway) but it does seem to be something in need of attention. and honestly I can't just leave things the way they are he needs to be changed. I start to chuckle as I call another teacher into my room to show her. I tell her he gave me his two cents worth, her eyes open as she realises what I am talking about and then she tells me we could make a good living if we could just get all the kids to follow suit! I tell her I would think it would take too long to get anywhere but maybe if we could get oh some bills, or maybe a few dimes or quarters maybe we could afford a drink at the end of the week! Yup! You guessed it! There sitting all pretty and shiny and covered in..well...poop were two pennies! LOL! I told his mom he gave me a tip! She didn't seem surprised at all that her son had eaten pennies! Which knowing the kid neither was I BUT thankfully it was just a penny or two and not a nickle or quarter or we might have had a tragedy instead of a fun little story. I am quite used to my little not quite verbal one year old kids giving me their two cents but not like that! Oh just in case you were wondering I did NOT save the pennies they went right along with the rest of the diapers to a landfill. This too shall pass... and it came to pass...
A piece of advice...try to find humor in your life it makes things so much more pleasant! Smile! I really believe smiling and laughing can decrease tension and increase health....so smile and laugh a often as possible and when needed cry.

Great advice - Elder Scott said something similar in Stake Conf. :) Glad all is well with you. hugz!
Hi,dear!
Changing diaper is the mundane step towards achieving the trait of motherhood, as much as getting close to and caring for babies.
You are on the right "motherhood" track!!!
More Love,
