MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas day filled with love and laughter. And plenty of whatever goodies you love. :) So far my Christmas has been wonderful. Of course it is only 7:30 am so there is time for that to change...to spectacular...:) My Christmas celebrating sort of started on Friday night when Sweet Pea and I went to see the live nativity program that family in one of the wards here does. It was a wonderful uplift to the end of a long work week. Disco Queen was going to try to join us but ended up only meeting up with us for dinner later. At certain times it was going to be a larger group with pinkie, twinkle toes, and several other possibly joining as well but they had other family things to do so went the next night. I have some pictures from it that I will put in this post but by way of explaination... That is Flat Stanly in the pictures he is a school project for a friend of mines son. He is here to learn some of the traditons of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
so here are the pictures...

It was chilly night but the bonfires were blazing and the apple cider was warm and what those didn't do to warm you the spirit that was there did! I think that this will become a new tradition for me.
Then the celebrating contiued as I went visiting on Saturday and Sunday after a wonderful church service Sweet Pea invited me and Disco Queen over to her Christmas celebration which was a fun afternoon. Pictures to follow next week sometime on all my activities. Right now Ia mabouthe only one up this morning as we had a slumber party so we could open our new pjsand all of uswho have our familes far wide could have a good christmas. I am in charge of breakfast think I am doing an egg caserole but it may end up being something else. I brought with me eggs, cheese and sausage so as long as I have access to the rest of my recipes needed items, spices and cream of chicken soup we are in business. And if not eggs and sausage and toast make a great breakfast too! :)
I am missing my family a bit but this has been a wonderful solution and a great Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Oh I'm so glad you've had a Merry Christmas! I was busy busy busy doing the cooking all yesterday. Whew. And Redbeard had a sledding accident and messed up his whole left leg! sigh.

I never did go see the live nativity. That does look neat! Maybe we could get someone up here to start one! That would be cool. Do they speak, use live music, or just cds?

love ya!
