Last night I went to a Single Adult activity where they served dinner. I brought with me my sugar-free jello and apple juice while everyone was enjoying eating their lasagna and salad and bread I "chewed" my jello into liquid and smiled the whole time. I was not bothered by the people around me eating and really, strange to say, was not hungry. But for the first time since surgery the smells of food did make my mouth water a little bit. However TODAY at church the teacher in Releif Society ( the womens group, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) after her lesson passed around chocolate and candies. My hand did not slow or quake but again my mouth watered. Not really tempted just kind of desirous. We get out of church to find out that one of the members of the word had brought CASES of muffin snacks he was giving away and all these people were eating them and getting them to take home... I was being tortured! BUT not really again still not getting hungry starting to but not really. So it was just what? Envy of their being able to eat to chew and swallow? I am begining to dream about creamy mashed potatoes and pudding and heck even pureed chicken!
Here's hoping I only have a couple more days of this liquid thing!

You're a ROCK! Keep it up... you'll make it! And think of how much more worth your health will be compared to a few sec./min. of culinary pleasure! LOL!!!!! Wish I was there with ya! :)
I seconded the former comment! The body is bound to react but you're making it and doing well... and that's awesome!
Let me now when you'll be on your way back to solids... but really...chewing isn't all that great... my jaw is really sore..and it a liquid diet sounds good.. want to trade? ;) hhehe
Do not worry if you should take fluid for a few more days because fluid intake(e.g. orange juice) is five times more absorbable than solid (orange fruit itself)into the body, giving more nutritious food for the body. When you think of the junk food people take these days with one-fifth nutrition absorbed, you feel glad you can get full nutrition for your body. Smile, then!
Today I want to share with you (and your friends) the Centre of God's Will, as great nutrition to your mind and spirituality.
Do you know what is the shortest chapter in the Bible? ....Psalm 117.
Do you know the longest verse in the Bible? .........................Psalm 119.
Do you also know what is the center of the Bible..............Psalm 118.
How many chapters are there before Psalm118?..............594 chapters.
How many chapters are there after Psalm 118?.............594 chapters.
Add these chapters before and after Psalm 118 together....1188 chapters.
What is the center verse in the Bible?.................Psalm 118:8
Does this verse say something significant about God's Perfect Will for our lives?
Yes, in order to be in the center of his Will, please refer to the center of His Word.
Psalm 118:8 “IT IS BETTER TO TRUST IN THE LORD THAN TO PUT CONFIDENCE IN MEN.”
Now, that you know His Will, please pray for the friend who shares His Will with you because this friend loves you enough to share with you as you are part of the royal family from above.
Are you thinking what I am thinking right now.?....YOU....YOU....YOU. Now, that is LOVE from the Heart.
So, please pray for me as I pray for you thus:-
“Heavenly Father, bless my friend in whatever it is that he (or she ) may be needing this day!
May his (or her) life be full of Thy Peace, Prosperity and Power as he (or she) seeks
to have a closer relationship with Thee.”
In the name of our Lord, Amen.”
Now, if you want your dear friends to be blessed as well, send this loving message to ten friends of yours, and you will be surprised how many of your friends will have prayed for you, and suddenly, you realize you have received blessings from the POWERS of Heaven without your asking.
“The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”, as promised in the Holy Scriptures.
Hurry, let the dews of Heaven fall upon you and your family by just being obedience to this request: “Obedience is better than sacrifice, and it is even better than any disobedience”.
Your friend,
Beautitudes.
