Looking forward...

Today, I had my pre-op appointment with my doctor. During which I got put on a liquid diet till surgery. So I get to have 5 of those oh so tasty diet shakes a day. YUMMMM! Actually they aren't as bad as they used to be so I am sure it will be fine. But I know I am going to miss chewing. then after surgery it gets even more fun! 1-2 weeks of clear liquids. All of this liquid diet is to aid in the surgery and recovery from the surgery so it will be worth it! After the liquids comes the pureed foods and then slowly the soft and solid foods in very small bites well chewed. But it will be about 4-6 weeks before solid foods come back into the picture.
So now that you know what I have to look forward to diet wise for the next little bit I will share some of the things I am looking forward to that make 3 weeks of liquids worth it. Some are rather small things some definitely seem bigger but Iam really looking forward to all with eagerness...
  1. being able to use a bath towel and have it cover me
  2. sitting in any chair and have no fear as to it being able to handle me
  3. soaking in a tub
  4. not wondering if I can get in my car that someone parked to close to
  5. buying a bracelet
  6. shopping in a department store
  7. going for a hike in the mountains
  8. not worrying if a seatbelt will fit
  9. participating in a marathon ( notice not run a marathon but I do want to do one just not sure if run is a possibility or not)
  10. table or booth ---whatever!

there are others but those are some I think about most lately.

I will be updating in here but I will not be doing a what I weigh . I will update sizes and pounds lost but not giving exact weight. I also will not be doing so weekly I will not see the doctor that often. But I will update when I have the current figures in hand to do so.

Currently I am in a size 26

Not really sure what my short term goels are...need to work on those...

Hehe, as you listed those a thought came to me... You're going to reach all those goals just in time to get married and pregnant and to big around the waist to do any of those things again... LOL!...Just a funny thought. :)
I like the goals... I hope I get to come along for the hike in the mountians :D
