2 days into my pre-op diet of diet shakes it hasn't been too bad. At least they taste better than they used to I even like the strawberry one so I am not limited to just chocolate flavored ones. I think the worst has been the headaches towards the end of the day.
A friend of mine, let's just call her "Pinkie", who I also work with has been a great support to me during this time but then she always is. Anyway, I told her I was getting hungry and I hadn't had a shake in a while...she jumps up and runs over to me and gives me a shake -- literally! Then she at a gathering tonight she tells "Pumpkin" that I needed to go home because I needed a shake and he does the same thing! they are having so much fun with this whole thing.
I think it is because we are all getting way too excited for the surgery to be and done so we can see the changes happen.
Count down 3 days and 10 hours!
