well, hopefully today I will be more coherent than yesterday. :)
So far today has been a fairly pain free day. But i over did things yesterday and didn't get enough fluids so I ended up in bed before 9pm and stayed there till 8am!! The sleep really helped me to heal some though so all is well.
I got to take off the dressings from my wounds today and shower! Amazing what a little shampoo can do! With the dressings removed I was able to figure out why certain spots hurt more or at all when other spots did not hurt at all. 0y tummy is now a lovely patch work of yellow,white, and black & blue! Along with the swelling it looks rather ...hmmm... ugly! Not that my tummy was a thing of beauty but this just makes it all the worse. I am hoping the swelling goes down quickly because once it is down I can start on the pureed foods."they" say it takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks.I am pulling for 1 week. Well, I am off to walk! more later!

finally made it over here... you're already up and walking? WOW - that's great! Just remember to listen to your body and take it easy when you need to. HUGZ! I'm so glad for you!
