Time in a bottle

I can't believe it is less than two weeks till Thanksgiving! I am always amazed at how quickly time goes when looking back on it. I mean while it is happening sometimes it seems to be very slowly passing but it is never that way in retrospect.

Some examples...

last year at this time I was out taking care of my Mom who was ailing. She ended up in the hospital the week of Thanksgiving. That was the single longest week of my life and one of the scariest too! At the time I thought it would NEVER end and yet here it is almost a year later.

Walking the half marathon only took 4 hours but I tell you what there was an hour in there that was an ETERNITY! I was certain I was going to die and never finish. Now I can't believe it has been two years since that half marathon.
And examine any given hour in a day and you will see the same thing...some go sooooooo slowly by and others you are like wait when did it get to be that late?
Time is a funny thing and the way we treat it is too. Some things we wish would just speed by us and other things we are wanting to go as slowly as possible BUT always we are amazed at how fast it goes when we look back.
