It always amazes me how the days can just fly away from me. I mean it is like BOOM! All of a sudden over a week has passed since I last truly wrote on here. Lots happening, lots to tell, not enough time to tell it all well. so here goes with a random sampler of mostly unrelated to each other items...
Sunburn is healing...sunburn was BAD...I was unable to work out even cardio till Friday...I am now an alligator scaly and peeling...I WILL learn my lesson and NOT do that again! SUNSCREEN is my friend!
Work...still trying to come up with nicknames for a couple of the key players at work to make story telling easier...that said...some stress reared its ugly head at work Sunday...two of the line cooks had issues I actually don't think she realised she was causing him stress but he is Mr laid back and when I saw him getting frustrated and felt the tension I knew it was not a good thing. As it always seems to be the case with these things it was a matter of communication breakdown and an insensitive remark. You can't have that anywhere. Just as I was getting ready to text or call CP on the golf course he came through in between rounds and I quietly informed him of the frustration ( a bit too quietly as we had an issue communicating due to my volume and probably a bit of muttering instead of speaking) CP really is a very good manager. Didn't beat around the bush but handled it head on. There is still a little residual tension but that will fade as time passes.
I got to "help" by carving out some frozen gumbo and sealing up little packages of crab rangoon. :) They made some really yummy pickled green beans...CP is making Kim Chee be interesting to see how that comes out...smells very much like what I remember...Still love work...they are finally taking out my 401K stuff just took two months...
Had Saturday off for a temple wedding. It was a wonderful day. very spiritual and they are both so happy. Kind of cool for me I didn't think about work once kind of weird but I actually I guess am secure enough in my job now that I don't worry that if I am gone I will come back to no job. took six months but there have other jobs where it took upwards of a year so...
my workout schedule was mightily disrupted by the sunburn but that is being rectified. And I am getting back to working out daily. My next training session with my personal torturer won't be till the 15th so I am gonna have to do something in resistance on my own ( I am so resistant to the idea :) )
Went and saw the Incrediable Hulk on Monday with LMSS (used to be known as Pinkie on here) and her boys. It was a fun day we spent a lot of time talking about adventure quest ( I am now level 40) because they play(ed) it. Oh and they did a really good job with the incrediable hulk. I really liked it. Lately hollywood seems to be doing much better with their comic book based movies. Pictures sometime in the future...

I have no desire to see Incredible Hulk - don't know why, because I loved the 70's show! We saw Iron Man - it surprised me - I really enjoyed it!
What steps are you taking towards moving on?
