Wow been a while since I have posted anything on here! Not really much to write about just yet tomorrow may bring more of interest...more on that tomorrow if it does ;)
But as for today...went to the home opener for the Astros last Monday with baseballguy it was an awesome game and a really fun day. I have a couple of pictures from it I will get on here soon I promise. I also have pictures from work that I snapped yesterday and will get some more today because the chefs will be in their monk hats tonight I hope since we have an event at the club. Work is fun. Cayenne Pepper, T-bone and filet mignon are a great group to work with. I really need to come up with names for the others as well...thinking cap on! I can't believe it has already been three months I have been there. I have the paperwork and will have health insurance starting in May. Yippeee! On Sunday something funny happened the ward emnployment specialist came up to tell me about a job that would allow me to be off on Sundays, my bishop is really pushing for that but for now I am good with sacrament being protected I know it is going to change as soon as it can. anyway the funny part about this job that he was telling me about it was with the company I worked with till last year. Who I quit partly and mainly because they had no benefits. I almost laughed out loud at the irony of it. I also find it interesting that though working Sundays is not optimal my job has lots of other benefits ( including health insurance but not limited to that) that other lots of weekday only jobs would not have. One thing is since my schedule is that I don't go in till 11 I can take classes in the morning and therefor get my degree. Any other job would require special scheduling to accomplish that or I would be taking night classes. Which while I am a night owl I do my best classroom learning in the morning.
Well I am off to get moving for the day. Long day at work with the event and all.
