A work Post

Lots to write about but no time in which to do it. And for some reason I havekind of a organizational writers block lately. Can't seem to get my thoughts to sit still and be placed where they make any sense at all. so we will try to stumble through this...
there are so many stories from work...Cayenne pepper, TBone, and filet mignon are awesome to work with mostdays it is a real pleasure to go to work and I feel like I get my tasks accomplished and the kitchen is clean and the dishes are spotless and MAYBE just maybe I bring a little something better each day. I figure out a way to do something more or better so that things are cleaner or easier to find or...not anything earth shattering and most of the time no one really notices for a week or two...thing is I take pride in my job and get pleasure out of it. If we can just get the chaulking done on the dish machine I can get rid of lake michigan on my floor we will be happy and not worried about the atlantic appearing there. Cayenne Pepper is very much like my brother and from what I can figure about the same age. He does a lot of the joking around that my brother does, love golf, just a really relaxed yet hyper guy. He is constantly saying "...and that is why I am Chef" when he fixes something like getting a gasget for my dishwasher and putting it on so it doesn't constantly drain...it never has anything to do with cooking something awesome it is always something he fixes and tweeks to make work a bit better. He is blunt but that goes for good and bad things. He corrects but he also complements. Amazing thing about him and actually all three ofthem is they get in my space and it doesn't bother me. Total trust. Weird for me but cool. Tbone is the steady, constant one fun and responsible. and Filet mignon? he is a cut above ( therefore the nickname) he is one of the closing chefs he closes most nights with me. I know it will sound strange or silly but he does things like make me 4 or 5 onion rings when he does a batch for an order. I can't eat a whole order so he will in the evenings if an ordercomes in fry me a few extra. I love their onion rings the are hand dipped and fresh. but they are a pain because they are hand dipped and fresh. Or he will clean out my dishwasher while I am finishing up the floors and get a load or two going for me. When I clean the floors I sendthe mats throught the washer and so have to drain an d clean it out before using it for dishes again. The floors take about an hour so dishes can pile up a bit. So if he isn't needing to cook he likes to be busy so...but actually all the chefs will help me out. One of the line cooks ( I need to get nicknames for them too...) on Sunday did all my dishs for me before I got there. Sundays I come in an hourand a half later so I can go to church, which can mean a lot of piled up dishes. This past SUnday I came in and there were like two because he had d0one them for me they had a 45 minute break with no orders so he did them. Sunday I felt like crap so almost cried when I saw I dind't have 2 hours of catch up dishes to do. But they are like that it is a team or family back there we take care of each other.
Off to the rodeo this afternoon.
