Swimming along

Swimming day 3...
I have cut back my laps a bit because yesterday I was very sore in my arms and shoulders. I am still swimming for half an hour just doing more of the pool exercises and cut the laps back to 12 I might do 20 every 3-4 days but thought I needed to give my muscles a chance to recover and to build up. Obviously I haven't been doing much in the way of arm and shoulder workouts as 20 laps was too many. I still hope to be up to 30 laps by the end of summer. Now remember y'all! I live in south Texas...summer ends around November not August. I also think I need to explain the pool I am swimming in. it is the pool at the complex where I live. For a complex pool it is a good size but it is not a lap pool like you would find at a health club. Distance is probably equal to about 3-4 laps in a lap pool. Regardless of all of that I figure that like the walking it is a matter of time not distance. Distance will increase as I get better and more efficient in my strokes and as my muscles build. Same as it did with walking. So I am going for 30 minutes of movement in the pool with at least 12 laps included in that.Maybe by cooler months I can join a health club with a pool and continue swimming in the winter.
As for the job situation...
I am still looking had an interview on Monday and should hear by the end of the week if I get to go back for a second interview. This afternoon I am going into town and filling out applications at several places. I have been filling out many online and will continue to do that as well. Hopefully something will come my way soon.
