I had a great weekend even though I did not get all the things I had scheduled done. For one I was unable to sleep on Thursday night so was up from 6am Thursday till about 11pm Friday so when I was supposed to be getting up to go do a 10k walk I was sleeping. Dreaming On Friday night I was supposed to go to my ward's chili cook off and then to a SA dance but around 9pm the "crash" began to happen so I decided to forgo the dance. The Chili cook off was fun though. the band that played at the dance came and played so I got some dancing in on Friday night even if it wasn't at a sa dance.Wakka-wakka Friday night a friend spent the night and Saturday (after sleeping in and missing the 10k) we hung out and went to the sa conference the Friday night dance was a kick off for. the classes were really good and uplifting. the keynote address by Brother Huntsman was awesome and inspiring, dinner was bbq catered by Papa's. Good but I am sooooooo glad we decided to go with something else for our menu at our conference this year. Seems EVERYONE is doing bbq this spring. The dance Saturday night was a lot of fun. Vet guy was brave enough to not only polka with me ( I am not the best at partner dancing) but to swing a little and try to teach me a few new swing moves. During the polka he had us spinning all over the dance floor it was tiring but alot of fun! The swing dancing was a blast! Thanks vet guy for a ton of fun Saturday night!
Saturday we here in the US changed our clocks ahead an hour. SIGH! So I lost yet another hour of sleep! But managed to get to church on time Sunday anyway!Clock
Sunday a friend of mine called and asked if I wanted to buy her four poster bed from her queen box spring and mattress included. I am sooooo excited to be getting a four poster bed next week! I have wanted one my whole life. It means I have to do some major moving around of my bedrooms to fit it in but believe me I will do so. Bed 2

Hey Gayle, me again!!

I can certainly appreciate the bed thing. My mother gave me her queen size bed a couple of years ago and last year she gave me all of her cherry wood bedroom furniture. I have beautiful lamps, differnt coloured scarves hanging over the sides of the large mirror, and something I've always wanted, a canopy over the bed. It's just one of those cheap circle ones you hang from the ceiling but I love it and it makes the whole setting so relaxing.

My favorite pieces in the room are two 20x30 pictures above my bed. They have thick black frames and breezy, flowy, light coloured open patio door scenes. Fabulous I tell you!! lol

Enjoy the new bed, it'll be worth the trouble of fitting it in.
