Well Again

Well, as much I would have loved to have wallowed in sickness for a few days, (not because I like being sick but because I would love to rest, relax and read) I recovered very quickly indeed and was back to full steam ahead by Friday. That pretty much seems to be how things go with me where illness is concerned...they hit me hard and fast and run me into the ground then move on just a quick. When they do linger it is a BAD thing.
Friday was a friends birthday and to celebrate it we went out Friday night to a comedy club. this was not a stand up comedy club but an improvisational comedy act like the "Whose Line is it anyway?" show. I laughed till my head ached from lack of oxygen and my sides hurt. It was clean and fun...imagine! It was a place called Sportz Comedy Club. they have teams of three and a referee to make sure there are no fouls during play. the two main types of fouls are the groaner, which occurs if a player or team causes the audience to groan at what they do in the course of the game. The second is a brown bag foul, which is when anything lewd lucidious, obscene or vulgar is said by either audience or players. It is an interactive place so they have audience participants and take suggestions from the audience for the games they improv. Like for the musical styles game they asked for a occupation someone said boxing so that was what the subject for the compilation CD that was being hawked so all the songs they made up had to have to do with boxing. Anyway, it is a whole lot funnier in person than trying to explain it. The friend whose birthday it was committed a brown bag foul and had to wear a brown bag on her head for the rest of that round. She had suggested "womb" for a place so she was bagged. ROTFL It was a fun night! We took a few pictures and as soon as they are developed they will be here.
Saturday night was the bachelorette/bridal showerBridal Shower thingy for Pinkie. we ended up being a rather small group so just went to the restuarant to eat and all. I think it was fun for all. We are LDS so there were no strippers or alcohol involved but there was lots of laughing and fun. So now the count down begins in earnest! This friday is the day! Pinkie and Twinkle Toes will be married. Wedding Cake Now I have to get my car cleaned out so we can fit at least three of us and our poofy dresses in it to go down and back up from the wedding and so that on the way back up I can put some of the gifts and possibly left over wedding cake to take to the house. Guess I will do that tomorrow and Wednesday and then wash my car on Friday Morning after I leave work so it is purty and not all dusty.
