So this post is actually a thank you to those who encouraged me before the half marathon and I will be posting some of their words here. A few days before the event I sent out an email to a huge group of people because I was getting a bit nervous and wanted to get as many prayers and good vibes on my side as I could during the event. So I did something I can honestly say I have never done before I sent an email to a whole lot of people asking for prayers and thoughts to help me on my way Sunday during the event. Now I have in thepast emailed and asked select people for help prayer-wise but never just an almost blanket everyone in my address book kind of thing. Tells you how nervous I was!

Wow, big run. Good for you. Even 5 miles is great. Will keep you in my prayers. Let me know how it goes.
YOU CAN COUNT ON IT!
You can do it! I have complete confidence that you will do just fine! You are in better shape than I am now and so off you go and you'll do well.
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU AND WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS. I think you can go the distance and in the time so don't use energy worring about that. Just pace yourself with your normal walking gait and let your feet do the rest.
There were lots of you go girl and you can do it emails as well. I was just so bouyed and touched by the encouragement and cheering on I received not only in the emails but in phone calls and from complete strangers during the event I would be a very ungrateful sort if I did not publically say thank you to each and every single one of you for your happy thoughts, prayers and cheers! So without further ado....
