Crowds and Cheering

This weekend was one of crowding and cheering! Not all the crowding was good but all the cheering was fun. :)
First off, on Friday was a much anticipated event -- a date! Now it has been years since I have been out on a true date, you one where the guy asks you out and pays and all, so when at the SA conference one of the fellows asked me if I would like to go out sometime it was an exciting thing. And then it was scarey! The thought that someone might actually like me was numbing and freaky to me. Then it just became plain freaky as the fellow in question started callling and calling and calling. Now I like him he is a nice guy BUT I am not attracted to him neither am I ready for anything more than something casual. I am still working on a lot of things the main one being, honestly, the training for my half marathon. I know, I know. Sounds lame but it really isn't lame at all. This half marathon has to be the number one thing for me right now Imust train and I must train right and complete this or it will be a very bad thing for me psycologically. With the number of phone calls I was receiving from him I began to really freak out. It appeared he was moving things way too fast for me. So on friday we went out on a triple date. Those who went with us were pinkie and twinkletoes, and sweetie and vetguy so I was surrounded by people I knew and cared about and who would hopefully buffer a bit if mr eager was too forward. We went to the movies and then to dinner at Tommy Bahamas. The night was...good...I guess. The movie was awesome I highly recommend it there was one scene that was a bit, well, sensual so close your eyes for that one but otherwise it was awesome! Dinner was yummy! I had basically a side item for my dinner and brought much of that home. Yummy, yummy sweet potatoes! :) However the night was marred by the crowding. not people but person. Mr eager was right next to me! He grabbed my hand several times and he held my hand while my hand was just there like a stick of wood or something.Every opprotunity I got I got my hand free of his but it was difficult on me. He was very much in my space and it was bad for me. With everything in my life past and present I am no where being ready for anyone to be in my space univited. I can tell I still have a lot to deal with when it comes to the sexual abuse if hand holding is freaking me out so bad. Sigh! Pinkie thinks it is great that I am now the one with boy troubles and not her! LOL. On some level and it must bew a weird level, I am glad for it too. I am so so weird! In spite of it all it really was a good evening, and I am flattered that someone has any kind of romantic bend towards me I just wish I was ready to be there myself.
The Good crowds and cheering came on Saturday night when a group of us me, baseballguy, vetguy, sweetie, and several others all went to see the Astros play against the Cards and beat them! WOOHOO! They won tonight too so that is awesome! We did a lot of screaming and cheering it was an awesome game! only disappointment came when we didn't make there in time to get a Roger Clemens bobblehead. :( But he was there and we got a picture of him so not too bad. :) Roy O pitched and Luke Scott had the force with him and his bat. AWESOME AWESOME game.

I'm sorry the guy crowded you - so many people with issues... SIGH.

I wish I could erase all the bad, but you know you are a strong person... so trust yourself & Heavenly Father - you can't go wrong doing that!

Glad the weekend had an upward "swing"! lol - now who's weird? Thanks for letting us know how it went... I wondered...

hugz!
