This past weekend has been a busy one. Well, truth be told, the past couple of weeks have been very busy and stressful! But this weekend the event causing a lot of the stress happened--the reception!
It was beautiful and fun for everyone. Everyone got into the circle and did the Chicken dance we actually had an inner circle because there wasn't room for everyone comfortably in one circle! The Chocolate fountain was a hit with young and old alike. We managed to make the gym look not like a gym but like a beautiful romantic place. the songs Pinkie sang were beautiful but more importantly to her people danced during them. The cake was gorgeous! I tasted a tiny bit and it was delicious! I brought home a piece to place under my pillow so I can dream of my future husband! ;) I also had sent with me 5 huge sections of the left over to give to people---anyone want some? My bride's maid dress got finished and was gorgeous! Word of the reception--gorgeous! I was concerned about being in green when pinkie was in red but it was good in fact it was better than good. The bride when she saw my dress said "good someone is in green" made my day! Pinkie, the bride and I all had our hair done professionally in updos for the reception we looked GORGEOUS! ( Of course what other word is there?) With the heat and humidity though by the end of the night we were melted. we also had a makeover with a Mary Kay lady so our make up was flawless, till we got hot from pictures and dancing that is! Between the hairspray, sweat, and non-waterproof mascara my contacts bolted my eyes before the end of the night but not to far before and thankfully after all the picture and video taking was over and done! So, no pictures of me in my prescription shades. What did not bolt was my stamina. I danced and visited and did it all with my new gorgeous black sexy open toed heels on almost all night.I took them off when I went contactless. I caught the boquet. I am 3 for 4 in that when I am in the wedding. In my dress the weight loss was very visible but more so in my attitude. With the exception of once during the night I was happy and enjoying myself. I know there were those who knew about that once but I hope and I believe the bride did not know. I honestly don't beleive Pinkie even knew. I tried very hard for it to not be known but baseball guy noticed and so did the people in the bathroom, and the mother of the bride. It was a moment and it passed.
BUT Saturday was not the only thing busy in my weekend! Friday night I met up with one of my oldest friends and her husband and a couple of his oldest friends and went to the Astros game. They won! It was an awesome time. my only concern was driving down and back by myself. But baseball guy came to my rescue and talked to me on my cell while I was leaving and helped me getout of there the easy way. Only hitch was I went the wrong way on 610 but figured it out fast and flipped around. My friends husband asked if I wanted them to walk me back to my car and then we decided to walk to theirs and drive me to mine so I did not have to make the walk back through a scarey in the daylight area but way freaky at night area by myself. I had my plan and would have done it but would have been shaking in my boots the whole time! One of the best things about the night was I fit in the seats! No bruising on my hips and thighs from the arm rests. I was able to jump up and down as needed no pulling my self out and squeezing myself into the seat. AND when we were walking to their vehicle we went up 3 flights of stairs at the end of close to a 4 block walk and I was not winded! Of COURSE, the best thing was seeing my friend and meeting new ones but these other things were pretty darn good too! Found out we had a little bit of fame that night too. In the ninth inning the mother of a very dear friend saw me at the game on her tv! Of course the only other people I know who would have been watching were either with me or out of town not watching! Ah well!

glad it was a passing moment;) Your right i didn't know. As a matter of fact I was glad to see that you very much a part of everything and would be able to look back on this wedding reception with no regrets including wearing a green dress that is definitely your color. Hmmmm...I wonder if that's why you keep ending up in that color :P Love ya pinkie
well done! You had a great dance, and enjoyment. It is good to see you so exuberant. Come to think of it. Would you mind to save the last dance for me?
So you will lose more weight. Have you tried skipping lunch? Or take soya bean food as substitute? Just some idea for weight control.
Happy Weight management to you!
SIGH. Wish I could've been there. Sounds like it was great. Much better than the open house up here!
