My doctors appointment was yesterday and I lost another 4.5lbs! Which Brings my total to 55.5lbs as you can see up on the ticker.
While it wasn't the 8 pounds I have been losing I was not disappointed in the loss at all. I knew I had been eating more food recently and I had actually managed to get some chicken to stay put so I knew things were not as restricted as they had been. I mean who can be disappointed in 55.5 pounds in lost weight since the middle of January? That is , what? an average of more than 10 pounds a month! What it means is I am now at a point where I need to be very vigilant about the liquid calories I put into my body. I went on a juice drinking spree there for a bit which while juice is healthy it is packed with calories. I mean 8 ounces of unsweetened apple juice has 110 calories! That is one quick way to rack up the calories!
Because I was able to eat chicken, was getting very hungry between meals (Pinkie pointed out to me the other day that I was always saying I was hungry at 11am. I used to be able to make it at least to noon if not later!), was eating a lot more food with each meal, and had lost a good amount but still with as much as I have left to lose my doctor adjusted my band this time. I went from 2.2ml to 2.6ml.
