Whittling Waist Part II

Thought that this time I would update my measurements a week before my doctor update!
So...drumroll please! Here are the latest measurements.
I have lost another 3.25 inches for a total of 8.75 inches gone!
My waist is a half inch smaller at 52.50 inches
My arms lost an inch to become 16 inches
My legs are just a quarter inch smaller at 27.75 inches
AND my hips were the big losers this go round at 59.5 inches for a loss of 1.5 inches!
When I stepped on my scale this morning I had gotten past another mark on it, which mark I won't tell but just know I was very very excited! Actually to say it was a mark on my scale is a miswording, my scale is digital! But let's just say the numbers were lower than they have been in a long, long, long while!
I have yet to be able to consistantly add a weight training program or an aerobic program to my schedule. Sigh! I think I am just going to have to bite the bullet and start getting up at 5 or 5:30 to fit it in.Ugh! If that is what I have to do then that is what I have to do! I know if I can just get those added in to my workout my inches and pounds will continue to melt away at a fast pace. Plus I will have better tone and hopefully not suffer as much from the excess skin problem when I get the weight off. I have started doing some arm exercises as I walk my puppy. I am sure people driving by are laughing to see me walking along moving my arms up and down making me look I am sure like a chicken on the warpath! But I can tell it is helping so chicken on the warpath it is!

Your chicken comment reminds me of Bill Cosby's "Chicken Heart that ate NY". LOL!

Gayle,

You are doing amazing! I am so happy for your success in your weight loss journey and in keeping your spirits up! You are right that your friends can be such a blessing--I know this because you are my friend even though we are miles apart and havent seen each other in almost nine years! Heavenly Father has blessed you in so many ways. Also glad you were able to spend time at the Temple--what a rejuvenation that is.

Love ya,
Sarah M. (Sareen)
