Near as I can figure it is due to my diet that is way low on carbs right now because I am trying to make sure that my soft foods are high in protien so I don't burn muscle but burn fat. Plus with exception of bananas and canned fruit (YUK!) soft fruit is hard to find. One gets sick of applesauce after the 400th serving of it in two weeks and well, that many serving of bananas would not be good! OK so 400 is a slight exageration but only slight!
So the plan to un-grumpify myself? Well, I am trying out new and exciting fruits and vegetables from the canned and frozen sections of my local market. Any suggestions would be loved on especially the fruits. Canned peaches and pears are just gross (unless they are in cobblers or pies!). The major problem with a lot of the canned fruits is the high added sugar content. While I am not yet having to really watch my sugar content in order to lose weight, I just don't like the sickly sweetness it adds to the flavor of the fruit. I SO prefer fresh fruit to any other kind!

Oh dear! I think if I were eating applesauce for the 400th time I'd be grumpy too.... YUCK! (I can't eat applesauce because Mom would hide my medication in it when I was little... ew!) Can't you make your own puree's?
It's just a short time... keep the end in mind - you're doing so good. I think we can all forgive a little grumpiness. Big hugz!
