The black pants

Tomorrow is the big day! I see my surgeon for the first time since surgery we get to find out how I am doing in the numbers arena...as for how I am doing otherwise...well you be the judge.
I will start with the black pants :) They are actually jeans. I put them on about a week after surgery for the first time since surgery. They were fresh from the drier all warm and toasty and shrunk! But wait! I did not have to suck in to button and zip them! Yeah!!! It was the first sign I had of progress real physical progress. But it has not been the last. There is the black straight skirt that now not only zips up with ease but is swiveling on my hips and twisting around as I walk, the blue capri's that I had outgrown completely that now fit, the appearance or at least the beginning of the appearance of my waist it is no longer hidden between rolls of fat because one of those rolls is almost flatened out now and the other is getting smaller daily!
I am walking at least 40 minutes daily. I take my precious pup out for a wonderful walk every night when I get home she and I both enjoy it and look forward to it every day! I also walk with a friend about 4 times a week at a mall. We walk at least 30 minutes so on those days I am walking over an hour. The only issue with that is one of my heels is having some pain but not enough to stop me. I just bought a pair of good walking shoes and will carry on!
I have been allowed to have non clear liquids now and my happiness level definitly rose with the calorie intake increase! I am also allowed some soft foods so I am enjoying those as well.
My only issue right now is that I am craving Pizza! Not sure why because I am not a huge pizza fan but then again maybe it is the crust and everyone around me eating it or talking about eating it! Oh well this too shall pass!
This weekend I am going to attempt to get pictures and some other fun things on this blog and will update what I find out at the doctors!
